    Most Human wizards find that they only ever achieve mastery over a single Wind, but the Loremasters of the High Elves of Ulthuan are believed to know many more aspects of what they call the “Aethyr.” Other powerful beings may have similar powers. In the Warhammer universe, the Winds of Magic are the invisible currents of magical energy that pulse throughout the Old World and beyond. Weird Science most infamously operates by using warpstone (sometimes known as ‘wyrdstone’ in the Empire), but power sources can include almost anything sensible. Ignore the No Power Points Rules – each Device has 10 power points by default, as per the section in SW-Deluxe. Ignore Manifestations – the Malfunction table suffices. When rolling Manifestations, do not add your arcane background to the roll. Take only spells or trappings appropriate to your deity.

    Each roll of a ‘1’, however, will add a +1 to the table roll – including the 1’s in a snake eyes roll. Snake-eyes do not add +2 to the table roll, but instead add a d6. However, whenever a Backlash is rolled, roll for Manifestations. Do not choose a Wind of Magic, no limitations on spell selection.
